If you have not yet opened a user-account, click 'create an account', Note the 'user-name' you have given as this is the name you will have to use in the future to log on.  Complete the subscription form and submit.  The administrator will be informed of your application and will first have to accept you as a website-user, which will generally be done within 3 days.

After approval you will receive an email with a on-time login link which will allow you to log on and set your own password.  When setting your password, you can also set your language.  From now on, you can subscribe to activities.
